Our ultrasound service utilises non-invasive imaging techniques to provide detailed pictures of your pet’s internal organs, giving us a clear picture of what’s going on inside, without causing discomfort for your furry friend.
Almost like an x-ray, but safer, there are an array of reasons why we would use our ultrasound service to get to the bottom of what is wrong with your beloved pet.
Ultrasound allows us to assess heart function, detect abdominal abnormalities and swiftly identify life-threatening conditions in emergency situations. Our vets can gently and precisely diagnose various health issues. Whether your pet is experiencing digestive problems, unusual lumps or displaying urinary concerns, ultrasound allows us to visualise their organs and tissues, helping us identify any potential issues.
Our ultrasound services can also determine if your pet is pregnant, count how many little ones they could be expecting and check everything is going smoothly, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both the mum and the future fur babies.
Ultrasound is quick, safe and provides invaluable insights, helping us to provide a diagnosis and tailor treatment that specifically addresses your pet’s needs, keeping them happy and healthy.
Rest assured, your pet’s comfort is our priority, and in most cases, sedation is not required. Our experienced team will guide you through the process, ensuring your pet receives the care they need with minimal stress.
