Chris originates from Essex, trained in Bristol and lives in Glasgow. He has over 20 years of cardiology referral experience and is one of the most experienced cardiologists in the UK. He achieved the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology in 2008, and Emergency & Critical Care in 2013, and was awarded a Masters of Research Degree in 2010 from the University of Glasgow for research into cardiovascular disease. In September 2021 Chris became a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (Canine & Feline Practice). He is also a distinguished ABVP Founding Fellow in Emergency Practice, the only such qualified person in Europe!
He is available to provide expert investigation and management of cats and dogs suffering from heart disease and lung disease. In addition, he is an expert by experience in abdominal ultrasonography and endoscopy, having performed these procedures for many years.
