Megan - Emergency Vets Glasgow

Megan qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse from Edinburgh Napier University in 2022. She moved from general practice to further develop her skills and experience in emergency and critical care. She loves the diverse range of cases she encounters and the constantly changing nature of the role.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys going for walks with her Staffie, attending festivals and going out with friends.

Constant or near constant monitoring (eg seizure watch)
Examples	Healthy patient – maintain IV fluids for drug overdise, lily ingestion	MOST CASES WILL BE THIS. Urethral obstruction with urinary catheter in place, post-op splenectomy / pyometra, vomiting and diarrhoea, HGE	Collapsed / non-ambulatory, septic shock, congestive heart failure
