Nicola - Emergency Vets Glasgow

Nicola is a Registered Veterinary Nurse who qualified in 2022. She has a particular interest in Schedule 3 nursing and enjoys the opportunity to make full use of her nursing skills while providing hands-on, compassionate care to patients throughout their treatment.

Outside of work, she enjoys training at the gym and spending time outdoors with her dog, Rudi.

EPOC Critical Care Blood Analyser, up to 4 per shift
Constant or near constant monitoring (eg seizure watch)
Examples	Healthy patient – maintain IV fluids for drug overdise, lily ingestion	MOST CASES WILL BE THIS. Urethral obstruction with urinary catheter in place, post-op splenectomy / pyometra, vomiting and diarrhoea, HGE	Collapsed / non-ambulatory, septic shock, congestive heart failure
